Polar Express

Every year the Railroad Musuem in our town does a Pola Express train ride. Just like the book, the kids come dressed in their pj's and we go for a train ride to the North Pole. After a short ride, Santa and Mrs. Claus board the train and comes by to each family. Elves hand out cookies and milk, ornaments, and keys. On the way back to the station the conductor sang Christmas carols. It was a pretty neat experience. Nola loves the train ride but still didn't care much for Santa. She covered herself with her jacket when he got close. Maybe next year!
